I'm excited that my cycle seems to be regulating / returning! All of my adult life, I've had 50, 60, sometimes even 100 + day cycles, with a little breakthrough spotting here and there that couldn't be counted as AF. If I wanted to have an actual bleed, I usually had to induce with progesterone, because I only ovulate once or twice a year.
In March, I started taking Maca and Tribulus every day.
In April, May, and June, I got a light period, on my own, around CD 20-ish! (the cycles were anovulatory though)
This month, I OVULATED on CD8!! then had an 11-day LP and got a NORMAL AF!!
(sorry for the shouting, this is such a big step forward for me!)
My concern is that the cycles are so short, around 20 days, the ovulation was early, and the LP was short.
Does anyone know if Maca or Tribulus (or taking them together) might somehow cause shorter-than-normal cycles? Or if there's anything I need to do / take / test for? Or just wait it out and see if it continues to normalize? I know I have low progesterone, so I need to supplement that in the LP. I used prog cream this month but it really doesn't do anything for me and I need to get another prescription for the pills (taken generic brand Prometrium in the past during medicated cycles and it works great). My doctor is out on maternity leave until September so I can't ask her right now. Thanks for any advice!
